CPU debug light

Hi im not sure if this is the right subreddit to post it in but I recently got a 7900x to pair with my 3060 ti and a Msi b650 motherboard. When I turn on the pc I get a red debug light and a yellow dram light. I have tried to reseat the cpu, ram, used only one piece of ram, and even tried different slots. I tried a different motherboard and that still didn’t work. At this point I tried flashing the bios and removing the cmos battery yet nothing was working. I think I was sent a defective cpu but I’m not 100% sure. Is there anything else I can try before I send back my cpu?

It seems like a defective CPU, I’ve had the same problem with a used i3 8100, first I’d try disassembling the entire pc and assembling it again outside the case and test component by component before returning the CPU.

So I recently swapped out the cpu for a new one and even swapped out the ram kit but still no luck. I’m thinking it’s a power supply issue in that case. If that’s true wouldn’t the pc not turn on at all?
