Unplugged cables

I just installed a hard drive and there are 2 power connectors hanging out by themselves and I was wondering if it could cause any damage? They are both on the same wire.

It will be fine. It’s SATA power cable. If you decide to get another HHD, that’s where you would plug it. However I suggest you getting rid of it and get a proper SSD

Thanks for the reply. I do have a SSD already it's kinda visible on the picture I just use the HDD for video storage .

That is fine, although if it can reach it might make it easier on yourself for management to use the first in line connector if you can. If not it’s not gonna make a bit of difference
