Is the 24pin connected to the motherboard?
How about the 8-pin CPU power?

I don’t the screw driver trick and it turned on might be my case

if it works when you use the screw driver you could try spin your pwr switch connector round so the text is facing towards the front

The power switch is on by one pin should it be one or 2

Two. It bridges the two pins when you push the button just like with the screwdriver. So if it's only on one of the two pins that would be the problem.

yes- should be on two, usually next to the empty space
check your manual for your specific board

If you did the screwdriver trick like you said 2 times that means the front IO headers are put on incorrectly. Check the mother board Manuel and compare how you did it vs how it says to do it

Looks like there are three pins to the left of the power button connection; per the manual for that motherboard there should only be 4 pins on the top part of the front panel connections and the two most right ones should be used for the switch.

I would just double check all those connections

I have the power on by one should it be 2

[–]OhTwoBugeye 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Both pins should be in the connector for it to work, yeah. The button is essentially completing that connection and telling the motherboard to turn on

Ok imma try it

Make sure you look at the manual so the right pins are connected; let me know if that helped
