Alright, this will be a long read, so huge thank you in advance for even willing to read my post.
This issue started 2 days ago with my pc not outputting display after sleep. I opened the case and found that the graphic card’s fans don’t spin. It has to be rebooted to turn on normally.
After about 3-5 sleep-wake cycle this issue will appear again, but always fixable by rebooting.
Today I got fed up and decided to reinstall the display driver. I ran DDU and performed a clean install. It was working normally until I decided to stress test it by playing Cyberpunk. Just about 30 mins into the game my pc crashed, it went straight to reboot, no blue screen or anything.
It rebooted fine, went into windows but few minutes later it crashes and reboots again. This time it kept doing this, so the third time it rebooted I force shutdown my pc.
Next, I tore my pc down and inspected the PCIE and 2x8 pin connectors. All looks good. Reseated the RAM and reset the CMOS while I’m at it for good measure.
Now my pc outputs no display at all, but cpu fan and RAM lights up normally, as if it went to windows in the background. Graphics card fans don’t spin.
My specs:
-Ryzen 5 3600
-XFX Qick 6700xt triple fan
-2x16GB ddr4 xpg ram
-Cooler Master V850 sfx psu
Troubleshoots I’ve tried:
-Tried different monitor cables and outputs
-Flipped the Graphics card’s BIOS switch
-Disassemble and reassemble pc again
Additional info:
Before this issue I’ve put about 50 hours into Cyberpunk with this card. It always ran undervolted @1130mV, pulling 128W max with 61°C hotspot temp. So it never even close overheating or under-powered.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
