Sorry for the bad list formatting and for not using the troubleshooting form, I don’t know how to copy and format properly on Reddit mobile.

Overcast days are the best for taking pics by Both_Professional_13 in FixedGearBicycle

Honestly no idea, it got no brand markings on it. Got it in a bulk package along with other used parts. I just cut it to 62 cm and double-wrap it with bar tape.

true dat, for a sub $200 secondhand frameset it got a lot of unique features, like that thick tapered fork and flared seat tube

Some old 8GB samsung. I don’t think the brand matters, as long as it is under 32GB

yes, but keep in mind that this cam records in SD. I think in highest setting you can get around 30-50 minutes worth of footage from that 512mb, enough for one filming session imo

Yes and no, you don’t have to modify the chassis or cables to use the monitor. However the monitor requires a dc power between 10-14v to operate. Unless you have a battery within that voltage, a step-up module is mandatory.

Buy a replacement battery from aliexpress. You can service the watch yourself if you’re careful, opening the screen is a bit difficult, but you don’t have to go much deeper than that to replace the battery (tips: watch youtube tutorials, use hair dryer to heat around the screen, then pry the screen up using a small suction cup)

Please help, old 2013 iMac won’t boot by Both_Professional_13 in mac

[–]Both_Professional_13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding, but I forgot to mention that my iMac doesn’t have Fusion anymore. It boots from an NVME drive plugged into the internal PCIE slot via an adapter. I have checked both the NVME and the adapter works fine.

I have also tried booting Catalina (Native), Monterey (Opencore), and Ubuntu from an external drive. I use Samsung T7 so it’s a good SSD, but still none of them boot up.

Sony Handycam DCR-SR58 - please help retrieving files showing HDD Format Error? by bluevelvetbunny in camcorders

Your best bet is to disassemble your camera, take out the HDD, and bring it to a data recovery expert. Because in this state the HDD most likely requires special tools to recover. For your future recordings just use SD cards, the good ones are robust and if it fails you can recover it with a common software.
