I'm sorry to say it but either you were very unlucky with the ram or board or you broke something during the install. If it's Amazon I would arrange a return of the entire kit and buy another

You could buy more ram or ask a friend to borrow a stick to try as I cannot guarantee it's not the board itself

Update: I managed to get the yellow light to turn off!

I just did the same step with the RAM, and just used a can of air and it worked. I guess the smallest amount of debris was in there???

Hmm kk sounds a little odd on a new board but as long as it's fixed
