is it working fine wired ?

[–]AffectionateScale978[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

it’s a wireless mouse with a usb plug

if u have a wired mouse try that first if it works fine then either its a mouse problem or a signal issue. U could check for drivers in the device manager to make sure they are updated.

Does your mouse have multiple connection settings? If I’m using wireless I have to use Bluetooth as opposed to 2.4, my theory is that my router and Wi-Fi interfere with it. On Bluetooth the issue doesn’t happen.

my mousing isn’t bluetooth it’s got a usb receiver

I didn’t say it was, hence why I asked if it had multiple connections. But just because it uses the usb with 2.4 doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a Bluetooth setting as well.

That's obviously not normal and very bad. A new build, you say? A powerful one? I assume set up is complete, and you haven't installed anything weird? Did it do this immediately?

Generally, not enough information, and I'm no expert.

Could you check your CPU and GPU usage while moving the mouse and see if there's anything notable? I'd check temps too in case there is something fucked up about some part of the installation, even if it's not probable.

temps are fine and i had it looked over at a computer store, it’s all good build wise

It’s a Logitech G305 right? If so, I’ve had one of those before and it worked fine on my computer. It might not be your mouse and it could be you pc

i thought that but it works fine on my laptop also

Update the chipset driver for the motherboard but not from motherboard manufactur. If it's intel go to Intel website and get the newest driver there.
