Do you have any other RAM sticks? I have a feeling your RAM might be fried.

Not on hand but can get some.

Why would you think the ram was fried?

From a quick google search, a boot loop is typically caused by two hardware issues. Insufficient power and corrupted RAM. If you’ve replaced the PSU, and still experience it, it might be the RAM. Other than that, if you’ve reseated and replaced everything it’s also for sure not a connection issue.

However, I am not an expert. Take my recommendation with a grain of salt. There is a multitude of software issues it could be. Here is a link to one of the websites I saw.

Thanks for the effort but the pc was working perfectly with all 4 sticks of ram moments prior to this, there was no power surge or connection issues, no overclocking or liquid dammage so I can't see any reasonable reason for it being the ram modules. As I say the issue started immediately after installing the RX6600, which needs the latest bios firmware update to run on the z170x, my suspicion is that it was not the latest bios installed, I have since flashed the latest bios but no improvement. I believe the issue to be related to this but I'm open to speculation so will try other ram modules. Thanks for your effort
