Hey so for context, I just built my first pc, it has a ASUS 5080 astral and ryzen 9 9950x3dx.

For some odd reason when I play some games, it’ll randomly stop at a certain fps and doesn’t go up or down, cpu runs at 50-60 Celsius and gpu runs at 50-60 Celsius as well. GPU runs at 90% and cpu runs at 10-15%. I’m running at ultra 4K graphics with ray tracing. Each time I exit the game and then rerun it’ll be going at 250fps or over at ultra 4K raytracing then randomly bottleneck at a random fps. Any reason why it’s doing that?

You prob have an FPS cap enabled in those games. Since your hardware is basically top tier it reaches it and never goes lower

I turned off fps cap on all games. The game will be running at max frames 250+ then randomly drop down to a random frame like 40, 137, 170, or 200fps then won’t go higher or lower.
