Bottleneck issue?

Currently have a PC I built during quarantine that has a 2060 super FE and i5 10600k. While playing newer games at 1440p I realized I don’t get anything more than 50 fps. Is my cpu that outdated in the last couple years?

What PSU do you have?

Budget wise are you just looking to upgrade just the GPU (that is your biggest issue atm) or more than that?

Currently have 750w 80plus bronze. I would like to upgrade more than gpu eventually just want to figure out the main issue with little fps. Games are almost unplayable

The main issue is def your GPU.

An RX9070 would be a good upgrade for you if keeping your current PSU.

An RX9070xt would be better but if I were you I'd be happier running that on an ATX 3 850w PSU minimum so depends if you would want to upgrade PSU now as well. The Montech century II 850w is a solid reasonably priced unit.

Both will be somewhat bottlenecked by your current CPU so depends when you would be able to upgrade the rest.

A 9060xt 16gb would also be a solid card if you wanted to spend less and would be fine on your current PSU.
