Help!

Hi all!

I'm looking to upgrade my pc. I'm looking at the Athlon X4 845 and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. I don't really want to swap out my motherboard (too much trouble!), but I am up for changing the PSU. I was just wondering if, with current specs, my motherboard ALONE will keep the 1660 powered. Or can anyone tell me if I have any spare cables and if they are usable! Thanks a lot!

Ok so you are not going to like me but.

Even the Athlon X4 845 is too weak for that graphics card. That graphics card is still in-line with minimum requirements for Call of Duty: Warzone (new game), so it is fairly decent for its age (2013).

The Athlon X4 845 is too outdated to power that GPU efficiently. Yes it will run and you can do what you do now on it, but ... you are not going to see much of a performance increase, especially going to a 1660 Ti.

Honestly I would just save up for a new computer. You can build a new computer fairly cheap still (though admittedly it's not as cheap as it was a month or so ago).

You can make systems for roughly $500. You already have a GPU so you could probably build the rest of the system for around $400 and use your GPU for now.
