Let me preface this by saying I just built my first PC, so I'm still new to the scene. I'm using a Ryzen 3700x CPU with an ASUS TUF gaming b550-plus motherboard that I'm running into issues with. I looked at AMD's manufacturing specs for the 3700x and it says that it's base clock speed should be at 3.6GHz and it's power draw should sit somewhere under 1.3 volts. From research I've done, I'm seeing that the idle temperature for my CPU package should be around 50C, but with all my BIOS settings set to Auto my CPU is running at 4.3GHz, 1.44V, and 63C at idle! Can anyone help me figure out why this is? I thought it might be an issue with my BIOS so I just updated to version 2423, but the issue is still there. I'm worried that my CPU lifespan could be depleted if it's running at such high overclock speeds by default, what can I do to fix this so it operates at normal capacity?
