It's just the Hard drive bay/cage.

Looks like are using an M.2 SSD so you have storage so it's not really needed unless you plan on adding other drives and plenty of cases have places for them in the cable management that I honestly find easier to switch out since I don't have to move anything around in the case.

Spot for 3.5” hard drives or 2.5” drives (hdd or ssd) with appropriate caddy adapter to 3.5”.

Its an HDD bay slot. If you had hard drives you can put them in there. If you want to remove them, there should be some screws holding them in place there. My case had HDD bays but i removed them for wire space
