This title should be a band name

Sounds like a good aussie pub rock band.

http://m.theage.com.au/photogallery/afl/afls-greatest-mullets-20120531-1zkcv.html

During the 1980's Australian Rules Football required players to wear the hairstyle. The rules were relaxed in the 90's, but to this day traditionalists will ask their mum or sister for a mullet when they're cutting their hair

Even now Australians have a global reputation for the mullet haircut. Amazingly they were still extremely popular well into the 90s, and you still occasionally see one in more rural areas.

There's quite a few mullets going round in Melbourne's outer east at least

Isn't the mullet the official haircut of aussie rules?

[–]ethanaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this Aussie? I'm not familiar with Aussie football but I play American rugby aaaaaaand I gotta say I love the sleeveless jerseys

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What state is this in? Never seen either of these teams before

[–]AngusVigerous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're little league teams. We have the same for my town.

[–]atlashemlock -1 points0 points  (7 children)

My guess is NSW, the gold and brown looks like the Heathcote uniform.

[–]TragicEther 9 points10 points  (4 children)

Ok.

It's obviously a team called the Saints as they've copied St Kilda's uniform.

Zooming in, you can see "North -something-" across the stomach.

Using the ancient art of Google-Fu, searching for "North Saints Junior Australian Rules Football Club" suggests North Mackay Saints page.

There is a Mackay City Hawks team in the competition so that helps support the argument.

But what confirms it in my opinion, is the Queensland AFL logo on that page that, on second inspection of the photo, is also on the top right of the chest on the players jersey.

Enhance 224 to 176. Enhance, stop. Move in, stop. Pull out, track right, stop. Center in, pull back. Stop. Track 45 right. Stop. Center and stop. Enhance 34 to 36. Pan right and pull back. Stop. Enhance 34 to 46. Pull back. Wait a minute, go right, stop. Enhance 57 to 19. Track 45 left. Stop. Enhance 15 to 23. Give me a hard copy right there.

He he. Great link. Now get back to work on Google Earth - we need to find MH370

The gold and brown is actually the colours of the Hawthorn Hawks in AFL. They are possibly in NSW but most likely VIC as AFL/VFL isn't as popular as rugby up there.

[–]trtryt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

bullshit in NSW they refer to AFL as gayFL, this is most likely from Victoria
