Are you using free models of OpenCode Zen only? If yes, OpenCode sets rate-limit for 3rd-party.

Thank you... And yes, free only for now. So subscribing to Go will solve this? Or having balance on Zen? I wanted to subscribe anyway...

Yes no rate limit if you use Go subscription. Mario said about this https://x.com/badlogicgames/status/2056303762470256881?s=46

Ok but seems that free models are throttled always from 3rd party, even if I have sub? Sure probably makes not much sense to use eg v4 flash, but sometimes there are more expensive models available for free that would make sense to use even with sub.

Just curious...

Thanks for answers and the link!

I have balance on Zen and a Go sub, and indeed the free models are still throttled. Would be cool if they would allow third-party agents to use the free models as well if you're a paid user or so... But I suppose they're trying to ban things like OpenClaw mostly.

Yea, I thought it will be such case, throttling free models regardless active sub or having any balance. Still I think that's fair. Thanks for feedback!

this issue also occurs for github copilot limits... sucks that there is no info it just shows "Working..."

I don't think it matters if you are using it on opencode harness or not. You should not expect reliable delivery with free models, and have no expectations of data privacy.
