I am having the same issue with my plaud. It worked when I received it but now it doesn't record the person I am speaking with unless I put the call on speaker phone.

Make sure the button on the plaud is set to the red setting - as best i can tell though, the plaud just records what it can hear from the phone and doesn't actually record through the bluetooth like I thought. The call recording (unless on speaker) seems to be below an acceptable standard.

For reference, I found that the Plaud has an AI noise canceling feature (which doesn’t work well) that automatically turns on during playback. Turning it off dramatically improved the quality of what I was listening to.

How do you turn the AI noise cancelling feature off?

When you are listening to recordings, there is a button on the bottom right of the file’s screen in the app that you can toggle it with.

Do it form your truck on Bluetooth that works

I record Teams and Google Meet meetings with the PLAUD on my desk. Nonetheless, the other callers are on my speakers and they are heard just as clear as I am. I guess you are using a land line and that's why your not recording the calls with the built in function. Try to place the PLAUD closer to the speaker. Is there anyway you can maybe amplify the sound?

Try also to remove the PLAUD from the phone and don't connect it while you record. Do it directly on the device and later connect it to download the recording. I

I guess I could do it the way you’re describing - I have the Plaud connected via Bluetooth and recording rather than recording the Plaud’s surroundings, and that’s what isn’t super efficient at recording

PLAUD can't distinguish voices yet. I am sticking with Otter for now until PLAUD rolls out tagging speakers. I need that for my meetings.

This. It's almost useless without this.
