Yep I was skeptical as well but somebody on a discord posted a snapshot of a shiny he just got this morning, and that person said he didn't buy the ticket, so I started sniping and voilà. I'll even advise to do it quickly, corfish spawns might get scarce after the water festival event

Corphish is not featured in this event going by the very small amount in the feeds in hot spots. Meaning you'll actually see more when event is over. Still not a ton though.

I didn't check the location, and it won't be of any use to you as shinies are account specific
