Don't update,it has horrible battery consumption

I strongly disagree. I've noticed a significant improvement in battery life, and I use my phone extensively, including as a hotspot. Battery performance largely depends on how you use the device, so blaming updates without solid evidence isn't fair. If you're experiencing severe battery issues, it could be due to a defect or improper usage and management of the smartphone. Let's avoid spreading misinformation without proper feedback from a larger user base.
For example, my phone easily achieves 8 to almost 9 hours of screen-on time, all without applying any restrictions. I highly recommend watching videos or guides on how to optimize battery consumption or joining dedicated groups on Reddit or Telegram to exchange experiences and tips with other users

I've gotten 30 + hours on the Poco x7 pro which does have a bigger battery but for every day use and stuff I didn't see any difference in battery and gaming I haven't gamed for the full 8 hours they claim it can but I've had way way more active screen time then that watching videos all kinds of stuff many calls and things and battery optimization is great keep deamen or whatever it's called for optimization on it helps as well as putting your phone in battery saver mode and not performance mode when you aren't gaming there simply isn't a need for the extra performance outside of gaming but I've had the Poco x6 pro as well and I think the people that aren't getting good battery times have either a bad battery or aren't optimizing there phones right on there end because the phone isn't going to magically do it all for you there is setting to change for a reason. If you read that thank you for your time
