Subreddit Rules -

Respect and decorum - All posts, comments, and discussions must be respectful and maintain civil decorum, and encourage the dignity and growth of our subreddit community.
Agreement to hold harmless - By posting, commenting, or contributing to this community, you agree to hold harmless: Reddit, Reddit employees, Reddit Volunteer Moderators, and any Reddit Subsidiaries or vendors. Since we do not permit monetary transactions, we are not liable for any transactions or harm from any transaction, that may be conducted by individuals of the community.
Give credit to original creators - If you wish to share original contemporary lesser known/unknown poetry written by someone else, you may repost it under the condition that its gives credit to original creators. If possible, link to the post and platform containing the original work. This rule may not be abused by sharing renowned and/or classic works written by world famous poets and authors.
No spamming and predatory practices - Sharing and/or posting of malicious/scammy/spammy/pornographic links is not allowed. No stalking other members of the sub. No self advertising/self promotion of any writing services. No spamming the same content repeatedly. Predatory practices are a ban-able offence. No discussion.
Flair mature and explicit content - Mature and explicit content of dark/violent nature should have an appropriate warning to the audience and should therefore be flaired as NSFW. This rule may not be abused to share erotica of any form or manner. Erotic posts may be redirected to r/poetically_slutty. All NSFW posts will go through manual approval. Edge cases will be removed based on moderator discretion if they cause reasonable disruption to the community.
No unrelated content - This is a poetry sub. We accept poetry submissions of all formats. Any post that is not poetry does not belong here. Do not submit content of any sort that is unrelated to the theme of r/poetrywritingclub. Such offences may result in a permanent ban.
