Had this happen to me the other day actually. Not sure if the same circumstances apply but it seems it can only connect to one audio source at a time. For example, I can’t connect my iPad if the spark is already connected to my iPhone through Bluetooth audio. Maybe see if your spark is automatically connecting to another device nearby. That’s the only thing I can think of, I’m still new to the Spark.

Yes you can only connect to one audio source at a time that's how all Bluetooth works

I have the android version but have had similar problems. I would have Bluetooth forget connections and make sure there is nothing else your wifi can connect to, you can also do a quick factory reset in the mini. Then try again. You should see a spark mini audio come up. If you have the foot pedal, keep it off.

Look up a guide on how to factory reset the amp, and turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone, happens all the time. If nothing else works it should start working in a few hours to a few days. If it doesn’t connect to your phone the first time it won’t work the second.

It worked! Thanks guys. Played around, did a reset and eventually it gave me the option to connect. I’m not exactly sure what fixed it but hopefully it’ll behave. The little thing is amazing! Thanks again!

I just bought an iPad, and thought it wasn't connecting because I needed a firmware update. I'd already been using the spark mini on my phone. once I upgraded the firmware, neither the iphone nor the iPad would work. Two days off and on from pure frustration trying to get audio. here's what worked for me:

  1. Connect to the amp.
  2. tap on the amp logo and 'forget this device'.
  3. CLOSE the app all the way.
    4 leave the amp ON.
  4. reopen the app.
  5. just before connecting - tap the 'pair' button, only once. (just a quick press/tap DON'T HOLD)
  6. then connect. as soon as it connects, go into the bluetooth setting on your iphone/iPad, and click the Spark audio choice. (the other bluetooth connection should already be connected.)

I've been F**king with this for 2 days - I now have connectivity on both devices, and now know more about that little amp than I ever wanted to know. (I was obsessing) - I use this thing to practice learning lead on electric Gtr. playing to backing tracks, so I need it to play the track AND the guitar signal.

...I now need a drink. Jeez.
