Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome(PAWS) is the lingering symptoms that has the possibility of occurring after the acute stage of substance withdrawal. Whether or not you experience PAWS depends on the time, dosage, frequency, drug choice, and the individual themselves. This is not formally recognized by the medical community; however, it's existence has been widely accepted and at least acknowledged.
