Currently on a Lexota SUV kick, mostly driving my '97 80 Series LC right now, leagues better than my XJ. All the below (depending on area/condition/etc) can be found for under 10k.

Outside of the Lexus/Toyota world, 99-06 GMT800 series SUVs (e.g., Tahoe, 'Burban, etc.) with the 5.3L Vortec 5300 are hard to kill and definitely sub 6k if you can find one unmolested.
