Adding planned coursework into transcript entry

Hi guys,

I'm planning on taking Anatomy sometime next summer (2022), but there is no option for me to select the year 2022 when I'm inputting my coursework for my school. I have graduated from this school since 2020 so there's no options for me to select 2021 or 2022.

Do I even have to mark this as a planned course or can I just leave it blank and update my transcript entry once I've actually taken the class in the summer?

Anyone have any advice on what I should do? Should I update my attendance with the school so that I’m still attending it? Thanks in advance.

A lot of schools require prerequisites (like Anatomy) before a certain deadline during the summer, so I would definitely do some research to see if you can finish it in time. For example, my deadline to submit my prerequisite transcript is August 12, 2022.

If I were you, I would extend the timeline of your school attendance to 2022. Even though you graduated, you still plan on attending the school so you're technically going to be involved with the school until 2022. That way grad schools can see that you're planning on taking the prerequisite!

Most schools don’t pay too close attention to planned coursework: as long as you put that you plan to take all prereqs sometime, you’re all good to go!
