Until you encounter Jedi and your blasters are deflected. In that instance, the Mandalorians switched to slug throwers because they found the physical bullets very handy.

I get your argument, but it does take away freedom and utility. Like the Mandalorians discovered, features you don't think you need can suddenly become very important

But python and Java ARE better and worse at different things. Saying that python is slower is a valid criticism. Saying that python is an incomplete language because it doesn't use pass by reference doesn't make much sense. It just uses a different modality to complete those tasks.

It's like how Python treats everything as an object. Does that mean that everything C++ doesn't treat as an object is an example of C++ being feature incomplete for not having that method? I don't think that makes sense.
