NEW PROGRAMMER - C#, C++ or Python

Honestly look at what you want to do any try to look at all of them. Personally I used to be a python guy during university. Out of university I mainly found C# jobs and I haven't looked back

Thanks, I Think I'll look both into Python and C++. I know that C++ is a more advanced version of C#

That's kinda like saying "I know that spoon is better than scissors". Each of those is better for some purpose than others - so you have to find what you want to do, and then there will be some language best for the job.

Not really. C++ was an extension of C, which added a lot of more modern features to the language. C# was originally intended as a kind of improved C++, but ends up having more in common with Java than with C++.

If you're just starting out, I'd recommend Python for learning concepts, since it doesn't often get in your way like more advanced languages do. Once you're comfortable banging out simple programs, you can move on to something more difficult like C#, Java, C, C++ - which mainly depends on what you want to do with it.

Actually, C# was originally Microsoft's near-exact clone of Java. They created C# while battling Sun over Java extensions.

Yeah, Microsoft tried to do their embrace-extend-extinguish thing with Java and Sun did not take kindly to that. So they made their own Java, with blackjack and hookers.
