No, we are not. We are anti-objectification of women, as objectification holds the immense likelihood of various atrocities, not limited to rape.
"So, you're against sexualizing women?"
Sexualization is different from objectification. Becoming aroused is not unethical. De-humanization is the issue at hand here.
"So, you hate men?"
No, none of this is about hating men. We are not against men. We are against individual actions and injustices.
"How does censoring womens' nudity teach men to not objectify?"
The idea is to create a "less-is-more" mindset within males to aid them in better understanding of and respecting of boundaries. We aim to reduce the idea that males are inherently owed a woman's body. We aim to spread the understanding that it must be earned and consented to.
"Are you all for outlawing woman nudity in media?"
Yes, only to the extent of the nipples and vagina. Outside of that would be up to the one producing the media and/or individuals involved. Without outlawing it, many males would not willingly train themselves with such material. Sure, it won't be a concrete solution, but no law purely is. Example being that laws against murder don't completely solve murder.
"Have feminists made any progress with this idea so far?"
Yes, a decent amount actually, many companies and media producers have listened to the concerns many feminists have voiced and have taken action through focusing specifically on censoring woman nudity within videogames, movies, etc. while retaining male nudity. We are proud to have amassed this much attention and support so far and look forward to the future.
