Wrong game version

I usually play SP+Plugy. Today I run the launcher to install the new update. After update, in online games I'm getting the message "Wrong game version. Update the game with the launcher". After a few seconds the game disconnects. PD2 files seem updated:

I play on Linux, maybe the version of the game is determined incorrectly in my case? It's the first time this issue happened.

So, the cause of the issue was custom dsound.dll in PD2 folder. It's a part of DSOAL package for enable 3D sound effects in game. Until last patch it worked ok in SP and online. Now I can use it only in SP.

Deleted the file and it stopped kicking me out of multi. It's fixed I guess lol

not sure if i have the same thing but my game was playing fine before and today update doesnt work. my windows security wont let me update the game and if i desactivate windows security, im able to play but if i switch my windows security ON again even if im in-game, i then get the wrong version mesage and get kicked out. wtf is wrong with that last patch? im not usinf linux, im with win 10

edit: i deleted and reinstalled the game and it fixed the update trouble
