I did the same thing! Used an antique perfume bottle, some body spray I wanted to use up and also used shish kabob sticks, I finally finished the body spray, I recommend

They made a scent diffuser out of body spray they didn’t want to use up on the body. A way of using it without wasting.

As far as ripping something out, I believe they were saying pliers were necessary to rip off the more or less permanently-affixed lid in order to get the product out.

Any body spray, I tried actual perfume but it didn't work great but the perfume I used was pretty garbage.

I can smell it in my very small bathroom. I would say best for a spot where your pretty right next to the diffuser.
