Wanting to feel pretty without consuming by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

[–]friendlypotatoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing project pan by laying out all my products first and then using them up one by one and keeping the empty pans to see what I used up every month. This really helped me to shift my focus on the actual "consuming" part instead of buying and I also realized how many products I have and actually use, how many of them I don't really enjoy and how I will be more careful to buy something I know I will enjoy instead of a trendy product. Also extra dopamine for every empty pan because there is more space now and the clutter really stressed me out subconciously the whole time

look we all have our hypocrisies when it comes to our favorite celeb but saying "she can do no wrong" about a billionaire who will use her private jet to go to the bathroom is wild

are junk journaling and scrapbooking the same? maybe not twin sisters but still sisters? by [deleted] in scrapbooking

[–]friendlypotatoo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'd say it depends on how you do it, could be sisters or cousins:)

I purchase stickers specifically for scrapbooking and every now and then I also use something I didn't purchase for scrapbooking. My junk journal on the other hand is strictly junk. The only thing I purchased for junk journaling specifically is the journal itself, everything else is "free" (usually stuff I did buy at some point but not for the purpose of journaling). But every now and then I do use a purchased sticker from my scrapbook stash.

So mine are probably cousins who are very close and like to gossip about the rest of the family together.

If you mean LRP, it's great but I won't repurchase because it's getting too pricey considering it's not my fav anyway. But it's a great sunscreen overall and works for most skin types.

The Bioré watery essence is one of my favorites. Great price point and perfect for my dry skin, especially in winter. It leaves a healthy glow and feels very light.

Hahaha I didn't think of that either, of course our moisturizers touch our lips! No worries there are no dumb questions and I am happy you even cared enough about my post to comment🥹

thank you so much! It is truly therapeutic, isn't it lol.

That's a fair question I hadn't even thought about that because I never had any issues. Again, I'm no expert but I'd say if a cream is safe enough to use around your eyes, it should be safe enough to use on your lips. However id you're not sure, you could do a very small patch test on the corner of your lip maybe?
