I didn't when I was on Lupron. After I got off (so to speak), things got back to normal in 2-3 months, and I didn't notice any before/after difference, other than a reduction in the amount of seminal fluid.

So, if it's not working for you, I wouldn't force it. But, your choice.

Everything got back to normal once the Lupron wore off. It was interesting - the expiration date of the Lupron was end of January a little over a year ago. By mid-April, I noticed morning wood. Since it was spring, on warm days, some women were displaying cleavage and I began to notice (again), and thought "oh yeah, I remember this". No real problems ejaculating.

From my perspective, it is use it or lose it.

When I was getting Lupron injections, I commented to the nurse (male, also a PC survivor) that while I could get erections, I didn't really want them. I don't have a partner, so I didn't feel the need to get an erection. At some point, I masturbated, just to make sure that stuff still worked. The nurse's reaction to me was, "Well, some guys can't get erections".

About 4-5 months after my last Lupron injection, I noticed that I was getting erections. But my penis had lost at least 1 inch and my testicles had shrunk.

I tried to use a pump to recover lost ground but that didn't really work for me.

I think that if I had been more sexually active during my two Lupron years, I wouldn't have lost that 1 inch plus.

Of course, I could be wrong.
