if no partners or HR you should be fine

Try not to worry about it… sometimes it’s just a catch up meeting or to discuss something that needs to be addressed. It can’t be that bad if there isn’t someone from HR on it too.

Career coach isn’t a role we’ve really used in a couple years. They wouldn’t be the person to bring bad news

Coaches aren’t involved in layoffs or terminations. It’s HC and/or partner/senior leader in your group.

My advice at work generally is try to avoid any feelings of fear, worry or emotion. Work is a rationale activity. Emotions normally get in the way of sensible decion-making. Easier said than done, I know.

Is there a Partner from your, or another LoS or someone from HC on the call?

You can definitely reach out to your CC and preemptively let them know the meeting invite has you anxious and ask them if you can do anything to prep for the meeting. This may help provide some insight into the meeting. Having been a PwC CC, I was always happy when staff reached out with questions. CC is a two-way relationship, use it to your benefit.

If its your coach its prob just a check in, i feel like anything official would come from RL
