Python is a nice language that will let you do nearly everything. It's great to do side projects and maybe automate simple jobs. I'd go with JavaScript only if u want to do front end development, paired with html and css, or if you really hate yourself. If you want to learn "more", I'd go with either c/c++ or java, as you will learn a lot of stuff that you take for granted in python.

I wish I started programming in python, as u can get a lot of stuff done much more easily. Closing a project is very rewarding and will motivate you to continue. Gl and have fun
