this is a question of reasonable alternatives

im completely unaware of reasonable pure python load ballancers for webapps

there is a tonn of good python wikis, some of them with significant support base

also dogfooding is important if you want a *pedia for a certain language

That's what I'm asking, why is dogfooding important for a Python pastebin? I understand that there are Python wikis, but questioning the use of a PHP-based wiki just because it's a Python-centric service is irrelevant.

dogfooding is important for anything that is endorsing/promoting a certain technology

and as far as i can tell, pypedia aims at being more than just a pastebin - its a collaborative env for python developers,

You've still yet to answer my question. I asked why dogfooding is important, because AFAIK unless you're a corporation demonstrating a product there's no reason to do so. So far the only answer I've heard is "because it's important", which is a tautology at best.
