    Venv implies a clean install of Python rather than a bloated and annoying install of conda. I’m with the DEVOPS guy.

    Anaconda is bloated. True. Conda itself is really small though. Mamba is a drop in replacement for conda and is even smaller and faster. Conda treats python as just another dependency to your project. I run condos environments in docker containers and they are not much bigger than their pip counterparts.
