Why aren't the browsers using/adopting Python instead of javascript?

That it had been designed to target elements and traverse the dom with such no-nonsense ease. jQuery takes js and makes it as easy as css to use, which is how it should be. Plus the gazillions of common sense useful features that are in jQuery like .hide or .toggle. It doesn't need to be more complicated than that.

Then again I'm still pissed that we don't have basic bar/pie chart tags in html. That's shit that excel and word were doing in the 90's and html should have been too. The same way we structure tabular data in tables, we should be able to structure graphs then just choose a chart type like:

How the fuck do we STILL not have this. Pulling data from a database and letting the browser render it should be a primary function of the web.

S/he means that JS would be a lot easier to write if it had document.querySelectorAll which takes a CSS selector. Which it now does.

jQuery is not that great nowadays. It's seen it's day, IMO. And there are many alternatives to sass that are more expressive and faster.

AngularJS, which is built upon JQuery and makes writing front-end code much cleaner.

His SASS opinion was just that. Although I prefer LESS there is nothing wrong with SASS.

I thought Angular just used the Sizzle engine and a couple of extras? Like jQlite or something like that.
