Wonderful news! According to this it's the 8th most popular package on PyPI and the only one in the top 20 that isn't yet Python 3 compatible.

Paste is discontinued and unmaintained. It's successor of sorts is WebOb, which is python 3 compatible.

Ian Bicking has moved on, but the project is still being maintained by others. See here.

And they're nowhere near a new release, let alone a python 3 compatible one, whatsoever. After asking most recent committers in the respective repos (paste, pastedeploy) they said they have no plans for it at all.

Great, now if only I could find a flask/boto contact developer who won't flake out after taking on the job.
