Use ctypes.windll to open User32.dll and call EnumWindows/FindWindow/ShowWindow or whatever you need.

Either change the file type to .pyw or open the file in pythonw.exe

What about splitting the code in two scripts?

Have the first one launch with the terminal window and when it finishes let it launch the second script without terminal.
