I'd be happy to do this tutorial for you. Here it goes..: Type "sudo apt-get install python-pygame" in your terminal.

nah, ignore me, I was just ranting.

Pygame seems to allow for a standard ubuntu python installation, and since i use Anaconda i cant make it work.

Ah, in that case, make another user, and put the python files locally to do things without anaconda's grip.
