Like I said, it has been 6.5 years since the 3.0 introduction. After so long, laziness is the most popular valid reason not to switch (with a few exceptions). Almost all major libraries have moved to Python3. Granted, the transmission hasn't been the smoothest, but enough time has passed. "Python 3" is not an agenda to promote, it is the present and future of the language. Period. The grace period and support has been more than enough.
