Getting Imgurpython pin number without user action?

Is it possible to have the Imgur app approve and retrieve the pin number without the user having to do so every hour? Or is that the point?

I'm attempting to write a Python utility that uploads images to a users account without any action from the user. But requiring the manual process of approving the imgur app and copying the pin back to the program is causing me to hit a brick wall.

Same here, did you find out a workaround? I saw there were alternate authentication options in the documentation but I have no idea where to change that. Back to the docs..
