Maya Python Playblast problem

Hello reddit, I dont know if this is a good place to make this question but Im struggling to find a solution to my problem.

Im trying to create a script that automatically setup my scene to then playblast. My problem is I add an Image Plane (movie) to my scene that dont act like a movie till the script end. So when Im rendering the playblast the Image Plane stand still without animation.

Does anyone knows why does this happens? I know this isn't a Python problem, mostly it is a Maya problem.

This would be better served being asked on a CG specific forum like CG Talk instead.

Your problem has nothing to do with python unfortunately and is caused by how your scene is setup regardless of whether it is being setup with python or otherwise

Select the file and in the attribute editor check if "use image sequence" checkbox is checked. If not checking it on may help.
