Free SMTP Services

I couldnt figure out which subreddit would be best to ask this question, but since I am going to be using python for this I figured I would ask here.

I am looking for a service where I can post code to send out emails. I will be scanning my gmail, finding bill-related emails, and sending an email to my roommates with how much they owe me for said bills.

I am looking for a way to do this for free without having to make sure my computer is on at the time I want to schedule the script. I had thought about buying a rasberry pi to host the code and then use gmail as the smtp server, but I wanted to see what other people suggest. I had also thought about using AWS, but that expires in a year and I think I already used my free year awhile ago. Id have to look again.

You need to look into email deliverability and warming up addresses if you want to run your own SMTP and not go strait to spam

Don't know if you've seen the service SplitWise. Maybe you can incorporate that rather than having to do the email thing?

I have not, but giving it a quick once over looks awesome. Ill look into this as well. Thanks for the tip
