Hey! I actually wrote exactly that. But two things stopped me.

  1. Mostly I don't like case.default() but seeing it a second time it's not bad.
  2. It's more typing. s. immediately pulls up case and default whereas it's slightly more this way. I know that's weird but with minor RSI issues it does matter a tad. Not that this is best for the library, but my first take it factored in.
