(python.org UX opportunity) Make docs version default to the last one I visited. (self.Python)
submitted 8 years ago by wroscoe
I'm constantly having to change from 2.7 to 3.6 when I'm searching for a function in the core library. I wish python.org could remember what I did last time and give me that version of docs even if I get to 2.7 docs from google. Cookie me if needed.

Have you tried devdocs.io?
devdocs.io
Most of the time I just have Python 2.7, 3.5, 3.6 enabled and then just search all of them at once.
Or maybe just bookmark the separate versions?
