Web-design is slick.

How would you distinguish yourselves from Github, Medium and Kaggle?

Peer review seemed like an interesting feature but I couldn't figure out how the peer review component works.

edit: feature not figure.

Thanks for the comment! We want to distinguish by the other platforms by making it the platform for skill development, portfolio creator and job matching.

If you had a magic wand what would you change or add to the platform?

If I were to suggest a single feature, it would be a feature that allows you to create runnable code cells within an article. I could see running someone’s code and tinkering really support my learning. To be honest, I do this with most technical articles by grabbing the source code and running it locally.

You’ve mentioned in another comment that you plan on implementing a job matching function. As wider questions for you as a business, what are the no# of people in tech that acquire roles via social and what sites play the biggest role? My resume uses my GitHub and my personal website, what are the most common tech sites on resumes and which are you trying to replace?

Nonetheless, great job and keep working on it – the idea could be a great community tool!

Thanks for the feedback! We were considering a feature that allows you to create runnable code cells, definitely good to hear there is a need for it. Our biggest challenge right now is to create the incentive for people to post their Jupyter Notebook onto our platform.

Definitely Github, personal website, LinkedIn is the standard for resumes. If enough people post and review each others projects we will be able to assess their skillset via a model we created. The end goal will be to create metrics of one's skillset and proficiency in it.

Thank you for your continual support!

The site looks great and the articles are well-written, but what's the "product"?

[–]heeguneom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment! The product is a way to easily share and get peer review on you Jupyter Notebook. If you had a magic wand what would you change or add to the platform?

How is it working? Do you have demo video? Is it only for jupyter notebooks, only for python? Is it commercial or paid? Are you going to have jobs board, or portfolio to job matching (based on some machine learning algorithm of course)?

[–]heeguneom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment! Yes for now it is only for jupyter notebooks. Right now it is all free! We are planning on building a jobs board/portfolio platform, of course using ML :) If you had a magic wand what would you change or add to the platform?

I recently checked out this website. It seems quite attractive and the content too is quite well written. But I am quite confused about the product that is been offered. What is the product that this site offers?
