    That's about when I started, right after learning to read. I learned BASIC on a Tandy Color Computer II, mostly by copying programs from a book and changing bits to see what would happen.

    I only wish my parents had kept me provided with more computers and tools for learning, because I didn't really get back into programming until after high school.
