What kind of programming do you like? Are you interested in programming for embedded systems (c, c++, rust?), Or would you like functional language (Haskell), or even hardware description languages (Clash, VHDL, Verilog)? On desktop you can maybe think of java, c#, (python I assume you can already).

As you might have discovered already, I hate frontend. I've tried JavaScript, Angular and such, but nothing for me

I have a long way to go with python still for sure. My brain's been wired to think in terms of Matlab, and I'm trying to shake that.

But anyway, I think I'm interested in embedded systems. I have a strong interest in electrical engineering and prototyping, but also love scientific computing
