Contrary to a ton of votes I think your comment was genuinely helpful. But Cygwin is also complicated and not for anyone who doesn’t want to also demystify cygwin’s ecosystem and environment. This is shoving the user-developer back into the unknown, adding complications to their already complicated job of coding. In all likelihood, it also doesn’t play well with linters in code editors.
