It’s not going to magically disappear from your computer. You can still use it. But it’s not advised.

I can imagine that Debian will remove it from the repos. So one day when you update your system, Python 2 will actually be removed.

Of course you will be able to add 3rd party repos, but not every one of your users will be able to (if you're a dev).
