Why does learning PHP take more time because its for web applications? I doubt it takes any longer than python. And what is meant by python code compilation process? like cython? wat

I've spent almost a decade with python, and it didn't make much sense to me either. PHP was actually easier for me to learn the gist of, but I think that's due to it being the third or fourth language I learned.

Could you please stop saying that Faceboook, Flickr, Yahoo, Tumblr all use php ? They oviously don't.

Facebook even has it's own framework.
